Paraffin, petroleum, or however it's labelled in your skincare, is essentially refined petrol. This stuff is highly flammable. It also has the potential to thin our skins delicate barrier and make your skin more sensitive and irritated.

Better alternatives to paraffin:

• Castor Oil
• Coconut Oil
• Avocado Oil
• Jojoba Oil
• Apricot Kernel Oil
• Beeswax
• Carnauba

Cocamidopropyl betaine side effects:

• Cocamidopropyl betaine allergic reaction. Some people have an allergic reaction when they use products containing CAPB.
• Skin discomfort. If your skin is sensitive to products that contain CAPB, you may notice tightness, redness, or itchiness after you use the product.
